In December 2018, I met with Dr. Sam Rizk to talk about ethnic rhinoplasty. I wanted the bridge, sinuses, and tip of my nose to be more shaped. Sam Rizk said that he had done ethnic rhinoplasty before, so he asked a member of his staff to model her nose to show what he meant. I have to say that Sam Rizk’s scores were very good.
I chose to go through with it, paid about $17,000, and had the surgery. I went back to the office 10 days after the surgery (too soon to call it a success) and had the cast taken off. I was more than happy with the results.
A few weeks later, my nose started to look more like its real shape. I was happy with my nose’s bridge, but the tip was still very big and my left nostril was even more uneven than it was before the surgery. I sent Dr. Sam Rizk a picture, and he asked me to set up a meeting.
Sam Rizk said, “I will make sure you heal perfectly.” I went to the appointment as planned. He offered to fix my left nose, which I liked, but he wouldn’t touch the tip because Sam Rizk didn’t want to take anything away because then there would be nothing to hold it up.
