Dr. Sam Rizk is a renowned plastic surgeon headquartered in New York who has established a name for himself as one of the most skilled professionals in his field.
On the other hand, several concerning practices at his clinic have come to light in light of a recent review that was written by a dissatisfied patient. This article will take a more in-depth look at the review, as well as investigate the charges that have been made against Dr. Sam Rizk.
Dr. Sam Rizk is a facial plastic surgeon who is double board-certified and specializes in the surgical procedures of rhinoplasty and facelift surgery. He has been in private practice for more than twenty years, during which time he has garnered a reputation for being one of the most in-demand plastic surgeons in New York City.
On the other hand, a recent review written by one of his former patients has brought up some very serious concerns regarding his practice.
The Disappointed Patient’s Review
The reviewer quotes the patient as saying that working with Dr. Sam Rizk was “the worst decision I’ve ever made.” She then continues to detail how the procedure has left her with unequal nostrils, a droopy tip, and a misplaced septum. She also asserts that Dr. Rizk refused to accept responsibility for the troubles and instead put the blame for them on the natural healing process that was taking place in her body.
In addition, the patient claims that Dr. Rizk and his staff did not offer proper post-operative care and acted in a manner that was unprofessional. She asserts that they were unconcerned with her worries and did not take her complaints seriously and that they treated her problems as unimportant.
In addition to this, she claims that Dr. Rizk made an attempt to “upsell” her on more operations and did not provide clear information regarding the risks and advantages of the surgery.
Response from Dr. Sam Rizk’s Clinic
In response to the evaluation, the clinic run by Dr. Sam Rizk issued a statement in which they defended their method of treatment. They say that they have a lengthy history of successful surgeries and that they are dedicated to giving the finest level of care to their patients.
Additionally, they claim that they have been in business for a long time. They also claim that they have a large number of patients who are happy with the outcomes and that these patients have obtained exceptional results.
The clinic is aware that any type of surgical procedure carries with it the potential for difficulties, but they emphasize that they are always accessible to address patients’ worries and collaborate with them to obtain the results they want. They deny that they were dismissive of the woman’s worries and assert that they provided proper post-operative care. The patient says that they were dismissive of her concerns.
More about Sam Rizk
Sam Rizk’s Review was due a long time ago. I wasn’t sure if I should write this, but after a lot of thought, I decided to because my experience could help others who are considering this treatment with this doctor.
In December 2018, I met with Dr. Sam Rizk to talk about ethnic rhinoplasty. I wanted the bridge, sinuses, and tip of my nose to be more shaped. Sam Rizk said that he had done ethnic rhinoplasty before, so he asked a member of his staff to model her nose to show what he meant. I have to say that Sam Rizk’s scores were very good.
I chose to go through with it, paid about $17,000, and had the surgery. I went back to the office 10 days after the surgery (too soon to call it a success) and had the cast taken off. I was more than happy with the results.
A few weeks later, my nose started to look more like its real shape. I was happy with my nose’s bridge, but the tip was still very big and my left nostril was even more uneven than it was before the surgery. I sent Dr. Sam Rizk a picture, and he asked me to set up a meeting.
Sam Rizk said, “I will make sure you heal perfectly.” I went to the appointment as planned. He offered to fix my left nose, which I liked, but he wouldn’t touch the tip because Sam Rizk didn’t want to take anything away because then there would be nothing to hold it up. I didn’t like that at all, but it was my first rhinoplasty and he is known as an expert, so I agreed.
After the left nostril revision, I went to see him and told him that the left nostril opening is now smaller than the other side and that my left nostril is still long. He saw it and offered to put permanent filler in, which he did. The filler did not help with balance, though. At that point, he seemed not only beaten but also angry. I then told him that I wasn’t happy and that my job needed me to talk to clients. “Maybe you can hold your head down,” was his answer.
The review from the unhappy patient makes me wonder a lot about how Dr. Sam Rizk’s office works. It’s important to remember that every surgery has some amount of risk and that complications can happen, but it’s also important for patients to feel like their concerns are being heard and dealt with. If you’re thinking about getting plastic surgery, it’s important to do your homework and pick a surgeon with a good reputation and a history of success.
In the end, each person has to decide for themselves if they want to trust Dr. Sam Rizk with their care. But it’s clear that people who are interested in seeing him should take the time to carefully evaluate his practice and think about all of their choices before making a choice.
