This is what the Boca Raton Police report says:

The boy dressed as a dinosaur had a lot of kids grabbing his tail, the reporter said. Because an unknown child grabbed his tail, the boy turned around and accidentally hit a young girl in the face, knocking her down.

David Morrison of Boca Raton was the owner of the young girl in question. In the police report, the kid in the dinosaur costume said, “David came up to him and started yelling at him about punching the girl in the face on purpose.” David started to yell and swear at the kid as he told him to take off his clothes.

The boy said that David grabbed his outfit while he was trying to get it off and tried to pull it off him. Once the outfit was off, David grabbed both of his shoulders and gave him a tight hug. He then pulled him away and asked where his parents were.

But the Boca Raton Police Department report only names one witness out of a large number of parents, kids, teachers, and Diocese workers. She didn’t talk to the police officers who came to help. Instead, the cops called her after the incident and asked her to give a statement.

The person in charge of the investigation said, “I also talked to Jessica Soupart, a third-party witness, by phone.”Jessica said that she saw David yelling at the child to get out of his outfit and trying to force it off. Jessica says that David then grabbed the boy by the shoulders “violently” and asked him where his parents were while also trying to pull the boy away. Jessica remembered that she stepped in at this point and told David to stop touching the child, which he did.

Even though the Boca Raton cop went to the party, he saw “nothing”

The fact that the Boca Raton Police only had a phone statement from one witness is important to note. Even though it was hours after Halloween, Boca Raton Police still stopped David Morrison at his home on SW 13th Street. They handcuffed him in front of his three young children, who were 3, 6, and 8 years old. He was charged with hurting children, which would have been a terrible thing to happen.

David Morrison’s lawyer, Brandon Dinetz, said that he thinks the office of State Attorney David Aronberg is looking into the case right now. He didn’t say much in his answer. He just said, “I hope they don’t file.”

The office of David Aronberg won’t say anything about issues that are still going on. Also, they wouldn’t say anything about pending cases at the Boca Raton Police Department. But the police record is interesting because it seems to be missing some lines that talk about the arrest itself.
