Movii Technology Review: Exposing a Job Fraud Platform”

Movii Technology is a multi-level marketing firm that began operations in Los Angeles in 2018.
The company employed multi-level marketing and Ponzi schemes to get job seekers to sign up and urge their friends to do the same. MoviiTech Asia was rebranded as Movii Technology in December 2021. By April 2022, MoviiTech Asia had been discovered by authorities, leading to an arrest in Singapore.

Investors in MoviiTech learned the hard way that, like most Ponzi scheme participants, they lost money. Southeast Asia was home to the vast majority of MoviiTech’s victims. Movii Technologies has shifted its focus to the American market.

Theory and Practice Behind Movii’s New Tech

Movii Technology Review cites “Joseph McKenzie” as the company’s “co-founder and chief director.” In an October marketing video for Movii Technology, McKenzie solely identifies himself as the company’s “spokesperson.” The video was uploaded to Movii’s official YouTube channel.
There is no way that “Joseph McKenzie” could exist in real life. His identity as a British actor has been confirmed by evidence, even though detectives have been unable to identify him by name.
The official Facebook page for Movii Technology provides some background on the company’s leadership structure:

Research conducted by the Movii Technology Review

Between April 1 and 5, 2022, the Commercial Affairs Department conducted an island-wide anti-scam enforcement operation, during which they detained a 29-year-old man on suspicion of participating in Ponzi-style job frauds in which participants earned commissions by watching movie trailers. On March 30, 2022, the authorities became aware of a new job fraud website called “Moviitech.”
Commercial Affairs Department officers apprehended the suspect during the operation. Three other guys, ranging in age from 18 to 41, have been found and are assisting with the ongoing investigations into the schemes.
Initial inquiries suggest the bogus business used MLM strategies to operate Ponzi-style frauds. The four men are suspected of promoting the schemes, recruiting potential employees as members, and providing bank accounts to facilitate the transfer of illicit funds. The authorities haven’t closed their investigation yet.
